MADAME SHERRI CHESTERFIELD NH WEDDING: CHRIS & DANIELLE

Follow me into the magical, mystical, and captivating remains of what once was the home of Madame Sherri. Located in Chesterfield, New Hampshire, this castle was built in 1931 by Madame Antoinette Sherri to be a summer retreat in the woods. The castle itself was a bit of a theatrical french chateau made entirely of New Hampshire stone. Showcasing large Roman arches, and crowned with a chalet roof. A grand stone staircase leading to a massive red front door brought you inside this estate which even boasted a huge live tree growing in the center of the bar area. The castle in all it's glory would have been quite the sight to see.

What remains today is the magnificent stone stairway, referred to as the "stairs to nowhere" for they now lead to just what is left of the floor which would have been her great room, where she hosted many parties and while dressed magnificently in costumes from her Broadway shows.

This setting brings tourists from all over and it something you just have to see for yourself.

In May, on a gorgeous spring day, Danielle and Chris were married right at the top of the stairs to nowhere. Surrounded by very close family and friends, they took their vows and became husband and wife.
